TCP/IP (UCX) DAYTIME (RFC868) tool?

The Question is:

 
Do you know a way to configure or simulate
the well known "daytime" service (port 13)
in UCX  (ver 3.2 and later) ?

The Answer is :

 
  NTP is the usual solution.
 
  Please contact the Compaq customer support center (or DSNlink) for a
  copy of the "[DEC TCP/IP] Example-C Daytime Server Program" example,
  if you are interested in pursuing support for DAYTIME on port 13.
