The Question is:

 
Greetings!
Thanks for the answer to question #168.  I had
posted that question, and was able to implement
the solution you proposed.  However, I have a followup question....  I am
unable to change the color of the created cursor from anything other than
black and white.  Is this the same result you got?  I have used the BITMAP
tool and
the ATOBM tool, but both will only generate black and white cursors.  Using
the pointer prefs from a session manager will not change the color of the
newly created pointer.  Any suggestions?  Thanks!
 
 

The Answer is :

 
  Generate a color bitmap.  See the decw$examples:bitmap.c example, and
  see the documentation of the X Windows XCreatePixmapCursor() routine.
 
  For those following this, and as the displayed numbers change over time,
