Description of LAT protocol internals?

The Question is:

 
Is there a bit level description of the LAT protocol available?  I am
looking for something that would include default timing and transmission
information, as well as the fields that are in the LAT packets.
 
Essentially, I am looking for options in networking LAT outside of bridging.
