X_ChangeWindowAttributes and eXcursion?

The Question is:

 
When using eXcursion to log into the Alpha from a PC or another Alpha and
start a certain  application, the PI application is crashing with error
message:
 
Major opcode failed request: 2 (X_ChangeWindowAttributes)
Serial number of failed request:  26
Current serial number in output stream: 263
%XLIB-E-ERROREVENT, error event recieved from server
 
The eXcursion log shows:
X-Protocol Error Error reply sent to client#4, Request = QueryFont,
Error=BadFont
X-Protocol Error Error reply sent to client#5, Request =
ChangeWindowAttributes,  Error=BadAccess
 
The PC has to rebooted in order to be able to connect to the Alpha again.
 
What's wrong?

The Answer is :

 
  Please first establish that the Microsoft Windows 95, Windows 98, or
  Windows NT system is running the current version of the eXcursion
