OpenVMS support for the Euro character?

The Question is:

 
Is there a character set designator used for VT terminals to use the new
ISO8859-1-Euro character set.

The Answer is :

 
  You will need to identify the particular model of terminal involved,
  as the character set(s) resident in the terminal control whether or
  not the Euro can be displayed.  (Many existing and older terminals
  and printers will not be able to display the Euro character.)
