Connecting a printer to OpenVMS?

The Question is:

 
I am having trouble setting up an LA30W (DEC companion) printer on a
VAXstation 4000.  I can't seem to get it configured correctly.  I was
pointed to a possible OS setup issue, however, my experience is limited.
Any information that you could provide wou
ld be helpful.

The Answer is :

 
  Information on configuring printers on OpenVMS is included in the
  OpenVMS System Management documentation.
 
  The OpenVMS Wizard is not immediately familiar with the settings
  and configuration of the particular printer cited.
 
  Please contact the customer support center, there is insufficient
  information available here -- expect to be asked for the current
  symptoms, as well as the current settings of the printer and the
