Print Queue and LAT Port Error?

The Question is:

 
The print queue sys$print won't start. Error message "!AS is not a LAT port"
occurs even though the port TXA11 is where the system printer is located.

The Answer is :

 
  Is the SYS$PRINT queue configured to use the LAT symbiont (LATSYM),
  rather than the default print queue symbiont (PRTSMB)?
 
  If this is not the problem, please contact the Compaq Customer
  Support Center directly.  Expect to be asked for the display from
  a SHOW QUEUE SYS$PRINT/FULL command, as well as for information on
  what has changed in the local queue configuration recently, as well
  as the full error text of the error message.
