The Question is: the openvms together with CDE and DECWindows was installed to work on a 21" monitor by mistake and that monitor is used by another computer. i want to get it to work on a plain 15" 1024*768 monitor. I read the question base and there was a similar one whe re you stated the file PRIVATE_SERVER_SETUP.TEMPLATE should be modified as a .COM, and that somewhere in it should be defined some variables for the X and Y size. There is no such information in this template file, so I'd ask for more specific help. I don 't know what are those variables' names, and where exactly in that file should it be set. Please! The PowerStorm 3D30 (PBXGB-AA) has a rotary selector switch on the
bulkhead of the card, used to select the resolution. The list of
settings is included in the controller manual, and reproduced here.
The DECW$PRIVATE_SERVER_SETUP.* file is not involved here.
