I've been able to open dec-terminals, using the PCX$server utility and the decWterminal command, however when I tried to open any application, I'm getting an error message in regards to the display. These messages are: %CIS-F-TRMINIT, error during terminal initialization or "Can't open display" Please help Patxi The Answer is : The OpenVMS Wizard will assume you are attempting to display OpenVMS X Windows client applications on an X Server running in the Windows NT System -- what is often thought of as an X Windows application is a client of the X Windows Server. You will also need to ensure that the TCPIP transport for X Windows is loaded on the OpenVMS system.
