Altering Current Time in HSJ?

The Question is:

 
What effect does setting the date & time on an
HSJ40 StorageWorks Array Controller have on the
hosts in my VAX Cluster? Are the clocks on the
HSJ40s totally indepenent of the system time on
the VMS hosts? I have two pairs of redundant
HSJ40s on a VAX Cluster of three 6610s, and I'm
planning some Y2K tests. I just need to know how
the clocks on the HSJs and the VAXes are related.
