RZ29 SCSI disk? (omits necessary details)

The Question is:

 
I was told that RZ29 disks has problems working
with VMS V 5.5-2. I would like to know what
exactly is the problem and how it can be fixed.

  There is insufficient information included here for a meaningful
  response -- factors such as the particular VAX (or Alpha) system
  type, the use of this disk as a system disk or as a data disk,
  the console version (if applicable), thermal or power requirements
  for the disk and the intended enclosure, amd other factors can all
  become involved.
