Clearing Alpha console password?

The Question is:

 
I was messsing around with my system and changed from ARC to SRM colsole.  I
was trying to learn the SRM console so I could use it and I set the
password.  Now I want to go back to the ARC console but when I try to reset
the console I it will start updati
ng but when It reboots to finish it says the console is locked and I cannot
proceed.  How do I turn off the password that I have set?

  Please contact your local hardware service organization, the local
  Compaq service office, or the regional Compaq customer support center.
