VAXstation 3100 hardware? (keyboard and mouse)

The Question is:

 
 
Hail sir wizard,
 
I have a VS3100 m76 running various versions of vms most of the time it is
5.2. I have a nice well adjusted vrt19-ha and the 8plane graphics option.
 
I ask of the these questions 3
 
1) Can I get the system to see the mouse and keyboard attached to the vrt
video cable ports on boot?
 
2) Baring yes to question 1. Can I i get decwindows to recognize them?
 
3) Is there an internal cable or juper I need to set/install? (its ok im not
scared)

The Answer is :

 
  The keyboard and mouse interface is via the sockets on the rear of the
  VAXstation 3100 series system enclosure, regardless of what sockets the
  cable might have.  (Older configurations used the sockets on the cable
  for the keyboard and mouse.)
