The Question is: I have set up a server queue to print to an HP LaserJet 4 printer attached to NT system with LPD service running. I am using "print/copies=3" but only get one job. However, "print/copies=2" gets me two copies. I seem to be limited to two copies max when printing to this que. Any ideas? The Answer is : Assuming the OpenVMS system is running TCP/IP Services for OpenVMS, please first check for ECO kits for the version in use or consider an upgrade to a more recent version (and ECO). If there is a mechanism on Microsoft Windows NT to log LPD activity, you will want to enable and examine the activity -- this will help determine if the problem involves the files sent to OpenVMS, or a problem on Microsoft Windows NT or with the printer. Once you have localized the problem (or if you are unable to localize the problem), please contact the appropriate support organization -- if OpenVMS TCP/IP Services are sending two copies when asked to send three, please contact the Compaq Customer Support Center. In the OpenVMS TCP/IP configuration file, the log file is established via an option in the printcap file: :lf=/SYS$SPECIFIC/TCPIP$LPD/logfilename.LOG:\
