Accessing EBCDIC tapes? (TAPECOPY)

The Question is:

 
With RSX, it was a relatively simple task to
write a tape in EBCIDIC format.  How does one
do this with VMS.

The Answer is :

 
  Please see previous discussions of EBCDIC operations, particularly
  around the TAPECOPY tool.  The TAPECOPY tool is available from various
  sources.
 
  IBM systems can also typically generate ANSI-format tapes using ASCII.
