Seeking mouse for old VAX?

The Question is:

 
Dear wizard,
 
I have got a VAX Station 2000 with VMS 5.1 as a gift form a company.
It is connected via 1 special adapter cable to
screen, keyboard and mouse.
The original DEC mouse was not included in this gift set.
Do you know if or what kind of the today availaibe mice I can connect to the
station ?
Will it otherwise be possible to get the pin
connection of the DEC mouse, to modify a newer
one to the same functionality ?

The Answer is :

 
  You need one of the older VSXXX-GA series, or compatible mouse.
 
  Consider contacting a surplus equipment dealer.
 
  Please see the existing documentation in the OpenVMS FAQ before making
  attempts to mix the peripherals used on older VAX systems with those
  used on more recent interface schemes such as those of the PC.
