Deleting old files? Executing commands remotely?

The Question is:

 
hi
 
2 quiestions :
 
1) how can i delete files over X days?
2) when opening another session (set host 0)
 in a CP the next line works on the older
 session, how can i make it work on the new 1?

The Answer is :

 
  1: DELETE/BEFORE=date, or DELETE/BEFORE=date/EXPIRED
 
  2: Use task-to-task DCL or similar, not SET HOST.
