Details of Oracle 64-bit addressing?

The Question is:

 
I have an 8400 with 4Gig of memory running VMS 7.1 and Oracle 7.3.2.  If my
SGA is only 500 Meg and I am not using Reserved Memory, am I using 64-bit
data structures to access the data in the SGA?  If I did use Reserved Memory
would that change the answer
 
I have read many articles on both Compaq's and Oracle's sites but still
cannot determine the answer to this.
