TCP/IP ftp cd command, and logical names?

The Question is:

 
After an upgrade to UCX v4.2 the following condition arose:
All the FTP clients (usually win95 PC's) cannot
use logical names in order to change directory.
For example in the past
ftp> cd sys$startup
used to work. Now the logical name does not get translated. Instead it looks
for a similarly
named sub-directory of the default (current
directory).
 
 

The Answer is :

 
  Please acquire the current ECO kit for TCP/IP Services and apply it, then
  -- if the problem persists -- please contact the Compaq Customer Support
  Center directly for assistance.  (There were ECO changes made for similar
  problem reports in the V4.* series of releases.)
