The Question is: I have an alphaserver 4100 currently running VMS 7.2. I am trying to use an image vested originally at 1.5. The image has run successfully on version 6.1, and 7.1 on various alpha hardware. On v7.2 I get the following error executing the image -- OTS-F-INTDATCOR internal data corrupted in runtime library. The image appears to run and give the desired output so far. The image is a pre-compiler. I'm wondering about the error and possible problems using the image on v7.2. Do I need to go back to 7.1 to use this image safely or is there something I can do on 7.2. There is no source or object for the image so recompile or relink is not possible. I have used the original vested version as well as re-vesting it with the version of vest on the 7.2 cd kit. The results have been the same. Thank you for your time. The Answer is : Please contact the Compaq Customer Support Center, it would appear there is an incompatibility between this image and the DECmigrate run-time environment in OpenVMS V7.2.
