The Question is: I've got a VAX running VMS V5.5-2, and a set of DECnet SNA products, but I can't identify exactly which! a LICENSE LIST command shows licenses for: SNA-RJE, SNA-3270-TE and SNA-GATEWAY-MGMT. I can understand the Remote Job Entry and 3270 Emulator, but I can't work out what software is actually loaded for SNA-GATEWAY-MGMT. If I run the SNAP utility, it says "DECnet/SNA Gateway-ST x1.2-2a", but when I run SNATRACE, it says "SNATRACE V2.1 (SNAGM V2.2-011)", so do I have "DECnet SNA Gateway for Synchronous Transport" (QA-S01AA) V1.2, or "OpenVMS SNA" (QA-362AA) V2.2, or BOTH?? I have to upgrade VMS to V6.2, and to have Y2K compliance. Do I need to upgrade these SNA products? Your help would be greatly appreciated! The Answer is : The SNA Gateway Management product (the kit named SNAGM) uses the license SNA-GATEWAY-MGMT. Please contact the Compaq Customer Support Center -- the literal answer to your stated question will depend a great deal on what you are planning to do with SNA.
