Controlling tape loaders? (tape libraries)

The Question is:

 
Dear Wizzard,
I want to use a TZ887 tape library to backup the whole system.
I don4t known how to select individual slots under control of DCL. I found
no command.
 
Do you have som suggestions to me.

The Answer is :

 
  OpenVMS does not contain specific support for controlling tape loaders.
 
  Tape loaders usually either have provided software utilities for this
  purpose, or they operate as a sequential series of cartridges.
 
  In this situation, consider simply starting the BACKUP and -- using the
  /NOREWIND qualifier -- operating on the cartridges loaded.
 
  Contact the Compaq Customer Support Center for information on other
  potential options -- specifics of your configuration will be required.
