Help for new system manager? (printers, disks)

The Question is:

 
What is the process(procedure) for setting up a Laserjet printer on a newly
installed OpenVMS Alpha System..  Is there a step by step procedure as I am
very new to OpenVMS.
 I also have a second Hard Drive and want to initialize it for user files?
Is a book you could recommend for System Admin functions such as the above
mentioned??

  Please start by acquiring and skimming the relevent chapters of the
  OpenVMS System Manager's Manual -- the basic printer configuration,
  queue configuration, and disk device initialization are covered in
  the system management manual.
 
  Many discussions of details specific to HP Printers -- there are many
  different HP Printers available -- also exist here in Ask The Wizard.
