Uninitialized BASIC Variable?

The Question is:

 
Where can I get answers from for Vax Basic?
 
I get an error  i-uninit  (variable fetched but not initialized).  I have
been looking.
 
I know u don't want layered product questions. can u "tell me where to go"
then? (in a matter of speaking)

The Answer is :

 
  Consider initializing the contents of the variable -- the compiler is
  telling you that you have tried to use the contents, but the compiler
  belives that you have never initialized those contents.
 
  When posting questions here in Ask The Wizard, please seriously consider
  posting a concise -- small! -- reproducer if at all possible, as well as
  pertinent information such as the compiler version, as well as the exact
