BACKUP-E-INVRECTYP on OpenVMS VAX V7.2 upgrade?

The Question is:

 
I am attempting to upgrade a VAXStation 3100 from OpenVMS 6.1 to 7.2.
During the restore of save set VMS072.B I get 3 "%BACKUP-E-INVRECTYP,
invalid record in save set" messages and the upgrade fails.  Am I missing a
patch to BACKUP or what.  I first susp
ected the media and had another set sent to me but received the same
results.

The Answer is :

 
  Apply the available BACKUP ECO for OpenVMS VAX V6.1, then perform the
