DLT Tape Media Compatibility? (TK87N and TK50)

The Question is:

 
A note about A.T.W. wiz_2655.html:
 
There are Digital branded DLT drives such as the TK87N that can not read
TK50 media.
 
These DLT drives that can not read TK50 media are (were?) sold at a lower
price.

The Answer is :

 
  Correct.  The TZ87, however, is read-compatible with the TK50.
