Installing and configuring DECevent?

The Question is:

 
I want to install DECevent on a cluster. Do I need to install it
specifically on each node? I have installed it on the first node and by
default it created a directory in SYS$SYSDEVICE:[SYS0...]. After the install
I tried to start DECevent on the second n
ode but it didin't work. Should I be trying to setup a common directory or
ddoes each node require it own site-specific directory?
