The Question is: Hello, I have an application running on OpenVMS 7.1-2 that is reporting a 'Virtual address space is full' error. All the help text that I have found relates to increaing VIRTUALPAGECNT in SYSGRN and increasing the accounts PGFLQUO in AUTHORIZE. As I understand it, VIRTUALPAGECNT is obsolete for VMV 7.1? I have increased the accounts PGFLQUO, but this has not resol ved the problem ... The application is attemting to create a Global Section sized at about 2 million blocks using the SYS$CRMPSC system service call and gets a return status of 580 (Virutal Address Space is full). What do I need to increase to resolve this? Many thanks, James Weedon The Answer is : You are exceeding the P0 portion of (32-bit) process address space. Consider using the sys$crmpsc_*_64 system services, and the support for 64-bit addressing.
