Adding support for DE500 NIC?

The Question is:

 
How do i setup a new network card on a AlphaServer300. It is a DE500-BA. At
the 3 chevron prompt the old card is EWA0 and the new card is EWB0. Do I
need todo anything in OpenVMS to enable the operating system to use this
card? if so what?

The Answer is :

 
  For asssistance installing the hardware, please contact your hardware
  service organization.
 
  Assuming that OpenVMS includes the necessary drivers for the card already,
  there are typically no particular software steps required once the hardware
  is correctly installed.  That said, support for various members of the
  DE500 series (including the DE500-BA) is a comparatively recent addition,
  and the OpenVMS Wizard would recommend acquiring the available ECO kits.
 
  Acquire ALPLAN05_062 or later, and check for an applicable ALPCPU*_062
  kit for the AlphaServer 300 series (this system is in the same general
  family as the AlphaStation 200 series) -- in this case, there does not
  appear to be an associated ALPCPU* for this system.
