The Question is: I know the first thing you'll say is to apply all pertinent ECO patches to my UCX v4.2, but I'm having trouble locating/getting hold of same. I also know this probably isn't enough to go on, but anything will help, since I'm desparate. Why can't I send VMS mail via SMTP to my NT workstation? Every attempt logs an entry similar to the following in SYS$SPECIFIC:[UCX_SMTP]UCX$SMTP_LOGFILE.LOG %SYSTEM-F-ACCVIO, access violation, reason mask=00, virtual address=0000000000000000, PC=0000000000334880, PS=0000001B WARNING: Fatal error signalled when processing CF= _FRITZ1$DKB0:[USER.SC]99083115430450_SC.UCX_FRITZ1;1 Leaving as orphan I am not well-versed enough in account manipulation to understand this. The Answer is : This appears to be a bug in the version of SMTP, or something specific to your environment. OpenVMS, TCP/IP Services, and other packages have ECO kits available at: http://search.service.digital.com/ As the current V4.2 ECO kit does not appear to be available (at the time of this writing) at the patch area website, please contact the Compaq Customer Support Center directly for assistance in acquiring the current correct ECO for the release. On OpenVMS Alpha V7.1 and later, you can move to TCP/IP Services versions V5.0, V5.0A, and later.
