Support (load) Host for PrintServer Printer?

The Question is:

 
Is there an alternative to VMS to boot an LPS17
printer ? My company wants to remove several VAX systems from our branch
offices, leaving only NT servers in place. Those VAXes are used to downline
load local LPS17 printers. Loading the printers over long-distance network
lines is not a possible option
either. Can they
be loaded by an NT server ?
