ECOs after OpenVMS VAX V5.5-2 Y2K Kit?

The Question is:

 
Are there any issues with backup after installing the Y2k patch kit on
OpenVMS 5.5-2.
 
I seem to remember a customer having problems with system crash/reboots
which were resolved by applying a backup patch after the Y2k patch.
 
That customer had a dssi cluster, whilst the one I have just upgraded is a
standalone VAX 3100, so there may not be an issue.

The Answer is :

 
  Installation of the current XQP ECO is recommended after installing the
  OpenVMS VAX V5.5-2 Y2K ECO -- please check with the Compaq Customer
  Support Center or the online support database (search for articles with
  "incorporated" in the title) for the current list of recommended ECOs.
