Problems with IP DNS Translation? (PING)

The Question is:

 
I have configure TCP/IP Services version 5.
I can ping the Openvms machine by it's IP address but not by it's name.
What didn't get configured properly? All the patches are installed.  Can you
give me a document and page number to reference?

The Answer is :

 
  The OpenVMS Wizard would recommend using TCP/IP V5.0A.
 
  The OpenVMS Wizard would also recommend examining the system the ping
  is being performed from (as that system could be having trouble with
  DNS address translations), and also look at the contents and validity
  of the information accessable to the DNS server(s) in use on the local
  IP network.
 
  If the problems persist, please contact the organization that supports
  the particular system that is performing the ping operation (and that
  is also apparently not translating the address).
