Relocating or Sharing CMS Libraries?

The Question is:

 
I wish to move CMS from one machine on V6.2 to another now running V7.2 VMS
The Cms version is currently V3.8-2 with the new machine having V4.0
installed. Can you please tell me where I may get appropriate information
for carrying out the moving/upgradi
ng of the Libraries.

The Answer is :

 
  Congradulations, these CMS releases are directly compatible and
  no conversions or manipulations are required when moving among
  VAX and Alpha, or moving from V3.8 to V4.0 on the same platform.
  If relocating the CMS libraries, simply move the entire contents
  of the CMS directories via BACKUP or otherwise...
