Performing Remote BACKUP?

The Question is:

 
Our DLT tape backup is broken on our Alpha Server 4100 and I was wondering
how I can do a network backup of this server because it has not been done in
a few days.  I have 2100 with a DLT tape drive on the network and also an NT
machine hooked up to a DLT
 Library running Backup Exec.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
 
 

The Answer is :

 
  Please see the OpenVMS FAQ section "MGMT12. How do I write a BACKUP
  saveset to a remote tape?" as a start.  Remote tape operations within
  an OpenVMS Cluster is also possible.  Quite obviously, the repair or
  the swapping of the failed DLT is another typical course of action.
