How do I ascertain the number of users I can get on my VMS system and in
what amounts can I buy extra licenses?
 
 
 

The Answer is :

 
  The licensing limits vary by the specific type of license
  installed -- please see the OpenVMS Software Product Description
  (SPD) for the available license types, and see the OpenVMS License
  Management documentation for assistance in understanding and in
  decoding the currently-installed license PAKs.
 
  The number of users that can be added varies based on the current
  system load -- the system may or may not have the performance
  necessary for the additional users.
 
  Please contact your reseller or Compaq Customer Support Center
