Connecting DECserver to Console?

The Question is:

 
I would like to set up a terminal server port to use TCPIP so that I can
connect the console port on a ALPHAServer and then connect to that terminal
server port.  How do I need to set up the the terminal server port to do
this.

The Answer is :

 
  In general, the connection between the terminal server and the serial
  console is set up in much the same way that you would connect a modem
  or a printer to the terminal server.

  Please contact the Compaq Customer Support Center for further details,
