The Question is: I have recently installed Netscape Fasttrack webserver for Indian Railways web site. We have a network of about 20 VAX nodes spread all over india in five sites namely Delhi, Mumbai,Calcutta, Secunderabad and Chennai each connected on 64 K Channel. The we b site located has to fetch the online information regarding passenger status and availbility in trains. We are also using RTR (Reliable transaction router). Al the nodes are using VMS. Since there is a inherent delay to fetch the online information and o pening RTR channel using CGI. My page many times give the Error 500 with VMS specific error code as 936 (process is suspended). This is usuallu happening whereever the request takes some time. The other information which is being displayed locally from We b server does not much time and hence no error is ever displayed. This is completely online site, Please give back immediate solution since We have already launched the site. Thank you. The Answer is : It would appear the timers are too agressive, or your network or server infrastructure is insufficient, or that there is some other performance or system tuning problem lurking here.
