Switching SCSI controller speeds?

The Question is:

 
I have 2 AlphaServer 1200's with 2-each qlogic
scsi controllers connected to a disk expansion
box.  I think my cable lengths are a little too
long for scsi-3.  How do I set the controllers
to use scsi-2 instead?

The Answer is :
