The Question is: I was doing a image backup of my system disk. I was using the following command line $$$ backup/image/verify/rewind/log DKA0: MKA500:DKA0.bck/sav/label=ignore The image appears to have gotten as far as coping all the required files. However just before it went to do the verification pass I received the following message: %SYSTEM-F-ACCVIO, access violation, reason mask=00, virtual address=0000000000000028, PC=0000000000000000, PS=00000000 It would not go any further and didn't do the verification pass. I replaced the 4mm tape and tried it again but received the same error in the same spot. I then tried the image backup on another disk DKA100: and it performed the entire backup and verification without any errors. Any idea what this might be? Any help that you can give me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Cory The Answer is : This appears to be a bug in BACKUP, or a supporting component, or a problem with the default parameters in your environment. First ensure you are running the latest version of the bootable environment (or have built such an environment with the latest ECOs installed), and then -- if the problem persists -- please contact the Compaq Customer Support Center for assistance. You will need to specifically identify the configuration, the bootable environment version and ECO level, the particular 4mm (DDS/DAT?) tape device, and the particular disk involved.
