DECwindows text corruptions at cursor?

The Question is:

 
When using text editing(DECW$NOTEPAD as an example),the I-bar text cursor would corrupt text when the text is longer.

The Answer is :

 
  This appears potentially rather similar to a recently reported problem.
  There is an updated DECwindows DECW$SERVER_DDX_GZ.EXE image or ECO kit
  available from the Compaq Customer Support Center for the known problem,
  and the OpenVMS Wizard expects this image will be incorporated into an
  ECO kit after the GRAPHICS V3.0 ECO kit.
