TCP/IP and ATM interface?

The Question is:

 
We upgraded an Alphaserver 4100 to 7.2-1 and TCPIP 5.0A.
The problem is now, that TCPIP can't initialize the ATM Interface IF0
 
The error message is the following :
TCPIP-E-INVINTER. error defining interface IF0
-TCPIP-I-ACPQIO. failure on internet ACP QIO
-SYSTEM-F-BADPARAM, bad parameter value
 
...
-TCPIP-I-DRIVERQIO, interface operation from internet driver QIO failed.
 
Very funny, because out BACKUP uses the ATM interface.

The Answer is :

 
  Please contact the Compaq Customer Support Center directly for
  assistance with resolving the problem with this particular (and
  unspecified) ATM interface and TCP/IP Services.
