Saving DECwindows CDE settings?

The Question is:

 
How do I make the CDE security settings permamanet.
I did the following
Clicked on the CDE Style Manager icon (the one displaying a mouse among others)
Clicked on the Security icon (out to the right)
Clicked Add
Entered * for User, Node and Transport
Clicked OK
Clicked OK
Selected Exit in the Style Manager File drop down list
Reboot
 
Once up again the settings are gone. How do I make them stick across a reboot?
 We have Startup set at "Resume current session".

The Answer is :

 
  You must correctly exit from CDE for the settings to be written.
  Shutting down or powering off the system before a successful exit
  from DECwindows CDE will cause the settings made to be lost.
