Help reconfiguring PCI controllers?

The Question is:

 
I need to configure several SCSI adapters into the PCI backplane of an AS8400
 and an AS4100. I would like to know what priority is attached to each PCI slot
 and whether the type of PCI adapter being installed will change the priority
 in which the adapters
 are configured. This is so I will know which SCSI controller will be PKA, PKB
 etc.
