The Question is:

 
Are there any known problems running Oracle 8.0.5 server on OpenVms.  My client
 is running Oracle 8.0.5 on a WindowsNt client connecting to a 8.0.5 Oracle on
 OpenVms, and consistently gets a hostdef error, which indicates that the
 connection was lost.  I
cannot find any related problems in Oracle or OpenVms.  I have other clients
 running 8.0.5 on NT Server without issue.
