OpenVMS and POSIX Compliance?

The Question is:

 
Can OpenVMS be considered POSIX Compliant, Since the POSIX kit is no longer
 supported

The Answer is :

 
  Full POSIX compliance is not presently available on OpenVMS.
 
  Within Compaq OpenVMS Engineering, a version of the POSIX kit
  has been brought back on-line on OpenVMS V7.2-1, in support of
  POSIX-like enhancement work currently being incorporated into
  a future OpenVMS release.
 
  This situation may well change by sometime early next year.
