HP Printer via third-party LAT NIC?

The Question is:

 
We are running 7.1-1h2 OS.  Trying to get an HP4 printer to print using lat.
 The HP has a Lantronics box using port 2 as parallel port.  We get the
 follwoing error:
  psm-e-writeerr, error writing !as
  lat-f-nomsg, message number 01769fcc
 
   Could you convert this error message into english plz.  Can not find the
 message # detail anyplace.

The Answer is :

 
  Please contact the maintainers of the third-party printer NIC for
  assistance configuring it for reverse LAT access.
