How do I change the DNS name on my ALPHA?

The Answer is :

 
  Please see the documentation for the software and the associated
  system that is providing your network with DNS server capabilities.
  (There are also several different packages that are often rather
  confusingly all refered to as DNS -- each provides a distributed
