The Question is:

 
HOW TO INSTALL AND INTIALIZE A NEW HARD DRIVE IN OPENVMS BASED ALPHA STATION

The Answer is :

 
    Please contact your hardware support organization, as information on
    the particular host system, the host version, the particular  device
    mounting(s) available, the particular disk(s) planned, and  related
    details are of interest.
 
    OpenVMS itself is not particularly relevent here, as the configuration
    process generally involves (only) the hardware.  Once the hardware is
    appropriately configured, OpenVMS will find and make the device
    available.  You can then use the OpenVMS commands INITIALIZE and MOUNT
    to use the device.
 
    Given that there was no mention of the device, the OpenVMS Wizard will
    assume this is a third-party disk.  As such, please also see existing
