The Question is: When our alpha boots up we loose our ability to do control-t. When we log onto another alpha with the same terminal we can do control-t. Do you know what would cause this. Any help is appreciated! The Answer is : Something (or someone) has probably directly or indirectly disabled the Control/T processing during the system startup. Try a test with a manual SET CONTROL=T, the appropriate SET BROADCAST, and the appropriate SET TERMINAL/BROADCAST command, and see if it works. If so, you are left to root through the local startup to see what has happened. Otherwise, you are left to contact the Compaq Customer Support Center for assistance in resolving this.
